Domaine des Houdières

A very old domaine in Puligny Montrachet whose heritage continues today

Marguerite Chabert was the first female president of a French wine cooperative. She owned several domaines along with Domaine des Houdières in Fleurie. This vineyard was worked by Mr. Chavanne for nearly 30 years. Today, the domaine is managed by Mathieu Montel. Domaine Houdières is located on three different terroirs with old vines (average 60 to 70 years old): Les Marrans on stony soils; Champagne on a granite hill, and Grand Pré.
