Domaine Des Coeuriots

A domaine producing wines from throughout the Côte de Beaune.

The family-owned domaine is located at the foot of the Basilica of Vézelay and produces mainly white wines (7.20ha) from the Chardonnay grape as well as red wines from the Pinot Noir (0.80ha). Since 1997, the white wines have gone under the Bourgogne Vézelay AOC. Vézelay officially became a village appellation, a notch above the regional appellation that it was previously. The ministerial decrees approving the modifications to the specifications were published in the Official Journal in November 2017, making the decision official. Vézelay therefore became the 44th village appellation in Burgundy.
