A family-owned domaine, pioneer in organic growing in Burgundy
Domaine Dominique Laurent was created and developed by a pastry chef; Dominique Laurent. He produces fine wines from his négociant business in Gilly Les Cîteaux. His grapes come from very old vines located in all parts of the Côte d'Or. He has dozens of different appellations that he often offers in small quantities of 25 or 50 cases. His first vintage dates back to 1988 and he created his domaine with his son Jean in 2006. He currently has 10 hectares of vineyards including Meursault Poruzots, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Echezeaux. Thanks to a natural winemaking process, his wines are deeply scented and can be enjoyed young or with some bottle age. The wines are handled very gently and bottled by hand without filtering or fining.
