Domaine Cauvard

Very old domaine in the Côte de Beaune producing a large array of red and white wines.

Domaine Cauvard is located in Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. This property has been in the family, descending from the oldest family in Aloxe-Corton, for 3 generations. Their ancestor, Simon Gagnerot, bought his first vineyards in 1681. Today the 16.5 hectares of vineyards extend over Beaune and the surrounding appellations. Julien Cauvard, the current winemaker, continues to produce fine wines in the true Burgundy tradition.
