Crafting fine Burgundy wines
Domaine Paire is part of a consortium of winegrowers. Each winegrower harvests the grapes that are then vinified at the Azé cooperative winery, which handles and tracks the vinification for each domaine. This appellation's geographical area spans the Macon region in the Saône-et-Loire department and it produces both red and white wines. There are two main soil types: siliceous-clay and clay soils that produce rich, rustic wines, which are mainly red, and siliceous or granitic soils that produce lighter and fruity wines that are exclusively white.
